Add a new list to the system
In many windows applications
Lookup Lists are provided in fields where specific controlled data
is stored for selection and insertion
into the fields for various reasons. This prevents typing
errors and it proves to be faster as selections from a list
can insert data into more than one field at a time. Many times
Forwarders have the need to create a new list and have to
request this of the software provider, this is not the case
with IT SQL.
Intuitive Transport provides
the capability to add a entirely new list to the system by the
Systems Administrator. The feature is found under the menu
item Tools, Add/Edit Lists. Note that Edit list means they can
modify the existing list.
When the administrator clicks
on the menu item Tools, Add/Edit Lists the following dialog
box appears. If they desire to edit an existing list they
select the name of the list from the dropdown button. If they
desire to add a new list they type in the new name for the list then complete the rest of
the fields.
The fields can contain data in
any language allowing for the lookup list columns to be in
whatever language or name that the licensee prefers, any list
other than the contact list can be modified.
