Domestic Shipments
Intuitive
Transport's Domestic module (like all modules in IT) makes handling your Domestic
shipping easy with a shipment log that can be searched by any
displayed column or field using either of the Search methods
available. It is easy to add and manage shipments. For
all modes of transport shipments
that have been quoted or booked using the sales module can
easily update data from the Quote or Booking.
You can
handle domestic airfreight, rail or truck freight using the
Domestic module.
Below
is a thumbnail of the shipment Log, click the thumbnail to
view in full size.
While all documents in the system can be setup to be
available in all modules, the system administrator has full
control of what documents are available for selection at the time
of opening a shipment. Below is an example of some of the
documents used in import ocean for a sample U.S. Import from
Taipei via Los Angeles In Bond to Miami Florida.
Billing
Invoice
Intuitive Transport allows for up to 4 parties be
invoiced out of the same shipment file. Billing Invoice
data can be exported to QuickBooks or Peachtree.

Now
operations can manage the shipments with a P & L for
each shipment that shows the costs and the revenues.

House Air Waybill
We have several house Airwaybills and usually a
client has this document customized.

Straight
Bill of Lading
We are not displaying a sample in Domestic, however
if you look at the Import Air Module you can view
samples of a short form straight bill of lading. We have
several to choose from along with Pickup and Delivery
Orders, including the Forward Air Waybill. Remember any
document can be added to Intuitive Transport.
