Import Ocean

Intuitive Transport's Import Ocean module makes handling your ocean import shipments easy, with an Ocean Log that can be searched by any log column or data field. It is easy to add and manage shipments. Import Ocean shipments that have been quoted or booked through the sales module can easily update information from the Quote or Booking.

While all documents in the system can be setup to be available in import ocean the system administrator has full control of what documents are available at the time of opening a shipment. Below is an example of some of the documents used in import ocean for a sample U.S. Import from Taipei via Los Angeles In Bond to Miami Florida.

Arrival Notice The Arrival Notice is used to notify the importers and their brokers of the shipment arrival and what is required to obtain freight release.
CF 7512 IT Entry The CF 7512 is used in a variety of ways as entry for U.S. Customs. In Transit, Immediate Export, Vessel Supply and many others.
Billing Invoice Intuitive Transport allows for up to 4 parties be invoiced out of the same shipment file. Billing Invoice data can be exported to QuickBooks or Peachtree.
Apperson Billing Invoice The Apperson Billing Invoice is available in all shipment sets or you can use a the standard billing invoices in Intuitive Transport.
Billing Worksheet or Shipment P & L Now operations can manage the shipments with a P & L for each shipment that manages the costs and the revenues.
Straight Bill of Lading We have several straight bills of ladings for trucking delivery instructions. This is an example of the short form straight bill of lading
Forward Air Bill of lading We can add any industry document so can the system administrator. Here is an example of a Forward Air waybill.
House Bill of Lading We have several types of International House bills of ladings to choose from.
Release Order The release order is used to issue a freight release once the charges and documentation requirements have been satisfied.
